Since plastic injection ports are often made with high quality materials, you can use them with a variety of chemical products. Along with their versatility comes their resistance to corrosion. Metal injectors (steel, brass, aluminum) are all susceptible to corrosion or rust to some degree. 5. Removal
Much like their installation, removing plastic injection ports is just as easy. For most surface ports, remove the port by hitting near the base with a hammer. For hammer-in packers like MABI’s, use a small ax to chop off the protruding portion of the injector.
NB: in most cases you should wait until the product has fully cured before removing the injection packer.
